St George Illawarra Dragons National Youth Competition team hooker Reece Robson cannot hide his delight after being named in the NSW Blues U18 squad.
The St George Dragons SG Ball graduate is joined by Illawarra Steelers SG Ball centre Zac Lomax in an 18-man squad named by Head Coach Brad Fittler to compete against the Queensland Maroons at Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane on Wednesday.

Robson, who is in his first season with the Young Dragons, has no doubt that the representative experience will benefit him as a player and is eager to take to the field and compete.
“It’s been good in camp so far and the boys have really gelled well together as most of us know each other from outside this camp,” said Robson.
“The intensity at training so far has been really high and that, alongside being with such an elite level of players in the squad, will no doubt help my development.
“I hope to bring back what I’ve learnt back to the squad for the Dragons.
“I cannot wait for kick-off to be honest and was stoked when I got the call-up to saw I’d be playing in it.”
