St George Illawarra Dragons second-rower Tyson Frizell will be available for selection against the North Queensland Cowboys at WIN Stadium, Wollongong on Saturday.
The local Corrimal Cougars junior has commenced training with his teammates for the upcoming fixture following his release from the NSW Blues State of Origin team on Wednesday.
Frizell had originally been part of an extended 19-man squad named by Head Coach Laurie Daley for the opening fixture of the State of Origin series on Monday.
He will rejoin the NSW Blues ahead of their fixture on Monday.

The Dragons will be hosting a triple-header of rugby league which will see the Young Dragons commence festivities against the Cowboys in their National Youth Competition fixture at 3.15pm.
The Illawarra Cutters will then take the field to host the Wyong Roos in their NSW Cup fixture at 5.10pm while the Dragons first-grade team will round-out the triple-act when the face the Cowboys at 7.30pm!
