The St George Illawarra Dragons have agreed to release Sebastine Ikahihifo from his current playing contract.

Ikahihifo has requested the early release, agreed to by the Club, to take-up an opportunity with the Huddersfield Giants in the UK Super League.

Ikahihifo had joined the Club during the off-season on a two-year contract from the New Zealand Warriors and had featured for the Illawarra Cutters in the NSW Cup this season.

“Sebastine has requested an early release from his present contract which has been granted to take up a long-term opportunity overseas,” said Director of Rugby League Pathways Ian Millward.

“We all wish him the best for his future and thank him for his contributions to our Club.”
