St George Illawarra Dragons winger Kalifa Faifai Loa is ready to embrace everything associated with the ANZAC Day Cup against the Sydney Roosters at Allianz Stadium, Moore Park on Monday.
Faifai Loa, a former graduate of the Dragons National Youth Competition team in 2010, is keen to take part in the traditional fixture and wants to experience what he saw as a younger player watching on from the side lines.

The flanker commemorated his first outing of the season with a try last round and is hopeful to build upon this in the marquee match of the round.
“It was a team effort to get the win first and foremost against the Tians and our forward pack led the way for me to be able to score,” said Faifai Loa.

“I was shocked by the selection but at the same time happy but it was all worthwhile to get on the field and help get the win.
“I’ve never had the chance myself to play in an ANZAC Day game but did so in the lower grades with the Under 20 team.
“I got to watch the first-grade team play after our game that year and just seeing the fans and the ceremony was something else.
“I could see in the eyes of all the players how much the game meant to them emotionally so it will be good to get an opportunity to wear the jersey and experience it for myself.”
