The St George Illawarra Dragons have agreed to release Peter Mata’utia from his current playing contract.

Mata’utia has requested the early release, agreed to by the Club, to take-up an opportunity with another NRL club.

Mata’utia made his first-grade debut for the Club in round 10 of the 2014 campaign against the Parramatta Eels and made 25 appearances in total.

“Peter has requested an early release from his present contract which has been granted to take up another opportunity,” said Director of Rugby League Pathways Ian Millward.

“We wish him the very best for his future and thank him for his contributions to our Club.”
