The hooker is presently starting hooker for the team following an injury to fellow rake Ryan Fletcher and was on the receiving end of the 28-12 loss to the Penrith Panthers last round.

Despite the result, Robson has confidence he and his teammates have what it takes against their upcoming opposition and ready to absorb whatever is thrown his way.

“Before half time leading into the break against the Panthers I thought we were doing well and getting on the front foot a bit,” said Robson.

“Unfortunately, it was a disappointing second-half though and no points were scored by us.

“I tried to do as best as I could with the amount of ball we had but there were a couple of errors that were made that just didn’t go in our favour ultimately.

“We’ve headed into training since then with the intention of working hard to rectify the loss with a win up in Townsville.

“For a few blokes like me it’ll be the first time playing against them but I am aware of how competitive they are and have far in the competition they got last season.

“It’s been a big step-up for me playing at this age-group with all the constant movement within the ruck which is expected of you but I’m loving it.

“Some of the more senior players in the team have taken me under their wing as I adapt to what is expected of me including Ryan Fletcher.

“I will continue working hard and do whatever the coaching staff require of me.”
