Illawarra Cutters Head Coach Jason Demetriou will be keen for his team to build upon recent momentum against the Mt Pritchard Mounties at WIN Stadium, Wollongong on Saturday.

The Cutters claimed an impressive 46-18 win over the Penrith Panthers last round to see them claim top spot on the NSW Cup ladder.

The Mounties enter the encounter trailing their hosts with only a lesser for-and-againt with Demetriou well aware of the importance of this game.

"The entire team put in a strong performance against the Panthers last round and it is up to them now to build upon this effort against a strong opposition in the Mounties," said Demetriou.

"It will be a top of the table match and the boys have been preparing hard in training this week.

"Both teams hae scored over 100 points in the first four rounds of the season so it will be very much a battle of the forwards to prevent the other from scoring."

Demetriou has named a near identical squad from last weekend's victory, with the addition of Andrew McCarthy and Tom Carr to the interchange bench.
