St George Illawarra Dragons centre Josh Dugan has suffered a slight hamstring strain and will remain monitored ahead of the fixture against the South Sydney Rabbitohs at the SCG on Sunday.
The Australia international has undergone scans which have confirmed a slight strain and will commence his rehabilitation ahead of the first home-fixture of the season.
The NSW Blues representative suffered the injury during the 30-2 loss to the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks at Shark Park, Cronulla on Sunday.
“Scans have confirmed that Josh has suffered a minor hamstring strain which forced him off the field against the Sharks,” said Dragons Head of Medical and Performance Tony Ayoub.
“He will commence his rehabilitation immediately and will be constantly assessed throughout the week ahead of the match against the Rabbitohs.”
