St George Illawarra Dragons Head Coach Paul McGregor is keen to see how his players respond to the upcoming pre-season trial fixtures commencing on Saturday.

The Dragons will be split into two travelling squads in the coming days as they take part in both the annual NRL Nines tournament held at Eden Park, Auckland as well as face-off against the Wynnum-Manly Seagulls at Pinklands Oval, Redlands.
