St George Illawarra Dragons winger Jason Nightingale is expecting to be tested against the Wynnum-Manly Seagulls after being named for the pre-season fixture at Pinklands Oval, Redlands on Saturday, February 6.

The New Zealand international admits the travelling team will not be underestimating their Queensland Cup opposition and will utilise the game time to test out several new combinations.

Cooper Named For Redlands Trial

“I’m really looking for the trial match and it will be a good test to see where we’re at going up against Wynnum-Manly,” said Nightingale.

“They have a core group of players that would have worked on their own combinations and will be up to scratch.

“For us, it’ll be about working on new combinations and trying to get as many people on the park as possible.”

Tickets for the pre-season fixture, proudly organised by Redlands Juniors, are now available for purchase.

Capacity is limited so fans are encouraged to pre-purchase and get in early to avoid missing out.
