St George Illawarra Dragons playmaker Gareth Widdop says it is always an honour to represent England and he can’t wait to play on home soil in front of friends and family.

“It always makes it extra special when you get to go back home and play in front of your friends and family”

“The English fans they are so passionate and the atmosphere is awesome so I’m really looking forward to it”

Widdop expects a difficult series against a great New Zealand Kiwis side but is looking forward to the challenge.

Widdop is currently in camp with club teammate Mike Cooper. England’s international schedule kicks off on Saturday October 24 with a match against France before a three game series against New Zealand in early November.
