The St George Illawarra Dragons Community department and Dan Hunt will be on hand to help Relationships Australia at the Kids in Care Cup day at Sid Parrish Park, Figtree on Sunday.
The event, which has been running since 2013, is held during Foster Carer week and features a 16 Men’s Team Knockout competition, demonstration games between three women’s teams and an under10’s Reconciliation Cup between the Illawarra Aboriginal All Stars and the Illawarra All Stars.
The Kids in Care cup aims to raise awareness of the need to support kids in care and the need for carers.
In addition, NRL Backyard League programs and NRL Dusty and Friends visits will continue to take place throughout the week.
