Red V Members enjoyed the chance to rub shoulders with St George Illawarra Dragons players throughout season 2015 with a variety of Red V Member Events hosted both at home and on the road.

Whether it was to get a jersey signed, ask their favourite player a question or to snap that all important selfie, Red V Members young and old had exclusive access to Dragons players – just one of the many benefits of being a Red V Member!

Red V Members in Sydney and the Illawarra have had the opportunity to watch closed training sessions, have items signed at an exclusive member’s signing session and reflect on the team performance with the players and coaching staff at post-match functions.

Our dedicated Red V Members outside of the St George Illawarra area also enjoyed the chance to meet their team at member events held in Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Wellington, as the Dragons travelled for away games.

This year saw the Dragons visit New Zealand twice (Napier and Wellington), much to the delight of 14-year Red V Member Brad Tanner.

“We may not have many New Zealand-based Red V members, but we are extremely passionate about our team and feel honoured to have the chance to rub shoulders with our players, coaches and staff,” said Tanner.

Nathan Seaward of Christchurch has supported the Dragons for over 20 years and relished the opportunity to meet Dragons players for the very first time.

“Being able to get Dean Young and Ben Hornby to sign my premiership jersey was so exciting for me,” said Seaward.

“It was my first time being able to actually meet Dragons players and to meet these two in particular was amazing.”
