St George Illawarra Dragons National Youth Competition team utility PJ Lo'se is grateful to be lining-up against the Brisbane Broncos at Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane on Friday.

Lo'se is poised to play his third fixture wearing the Red V jersey having recently made his debut against the Newcastle Knights at Jubilee Oval, Kogarah in Round 21.

The versatile player notes that the team need to play with intensity if they are to pick-up two valuable competition points against their upcoming opposition nad back one another.

"We need to improve in our defending as that is what let us down a bit in the loss against the New Zealand Warriors last round," said Lo'se.

"We did manage to rally towards the end of the game but by then it was a bit too late.

"This can be used as a lesson ahead of facing the Broncos who will be keen to impress in front of their home fans.

"We know what needs to be done and it has been address in training so now it is just a matter of making it happen on the field.

"Personally, I have really enjoyed my time so far playing with the team and I am learning a lot under Head Coach Ben Hornby.

"There are a lot of talented players here and I am grateful to be part of this team."
