St George Illawarra Dragons trio Dan Hunt, Dylan Farrell and Joel Thompson were in attendance at the NAIDOC Family Fun Day at The Land, Windang on Friday.

NAIDOC Week celebrations are held in July all over Australia annually to commemorate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

The players conducted a meet and greet in addition to sitting down with elders and judging a cooking competition which utilised traditional local ingredients.

Between 3000-5000 people were in attendance during the day and enjoyed rides, a free BBQ, a talenshow and various live performances.
