St George Illawarra Dragons hooker Mitch Rein has taken the early guilty plea and will miss the fixture against the Parramatta Eels at Pirtek Stadium, Parramatta on Saturday.

The Kiama Knight junior was originally charged with a Grade 1 "Dangerous Throw" offence by the NRL Match Review Committee on Tuesday.

The NSW Country Origin representative was placed on report in the 26th minute for the incident against Sydney Roosters second-rower Boyd Cordner during the 19-14 loss at Allianz Stadium, Moore Park on Monday.

Rein will be loaded 112 points while a decision on his replacement will not be named until later on in the week.
