St George Illawarra Dragons lock Trent Merrin has been charged with a Grade 1 “Dangerous Throw” by the NRL Match Review Committee on Wednesday.

Merrin committed the incident while representing the NSW Blues during the 70th minute of their 11-10 loss to the Queensland Maroons at ANZ Stadium, Olympic Park On Wednesday.

The lock can either take an Early Plea, graded at 93 points, or contest the charge but if found Guilty have it graded at 125 points.
