St George Illawarra Dragons prop Leeson Ah Mau cannot wait to don the Red V jersey once again against the South Sydney Rabbitohs at ANZ Stadium, Olympic Park on Monday.

Ah Mau, 25, featured heavily for Toa Samoa in their 18-16 victory over Mate Ma’a Tonga in the recent international Pacific Test fixture and hopes to bring that momentum into the game against the reigning Premiers.

The forward is aware that the Red-and-Whites, presently on a six-match winning streak, will need to be on top of their game when they face the Rabbitohs and is keen to play his role.

“It should be a tough game as they obviously have a big forward pack but we are up to it,” said Ah Mau.

“Everyone is ripping in and looking forward to it.

“Representing Samoa as always was a big honour for me.

“My family were proud and I’m proud too to put on that blue and white jersey.

“It was a big win by us. I’m glad we came away with the win.

“I hope to bring that form into this round’s game against the Rabbitohs and continue our recent undefeated streak.”
