The St George Illawarra Dragons Rugby League Holiday Clinics will be taking place during the two-week break, in Kogarah on Wednesday, April 8, and in Wollongong on Thursday, April 9.

This year will be more special than most, with one lucky boy or girl being selected to lead the team out against the Brisbane Broncos, for the seventh round fixture at Jubilee Oval, Kogarah, on Friday, April 17.

Those who attend the clinic will have the chance to rub shoulders with their favourite NRL Dragons, as well as receiving a Dragons football and cap, among other goodies at both clinics.

The three-hour clinics will be conducted by trained Rugby League Game Development staff who will teach children Rugby League skills in a safe and enjoyable environment.

Dragons Community Manager Paul Everill stressed the importance of team sports and group activities in providing children with an outlet during the school holidays which keeps them active and also assists them with vital life lessons in personal values, teamwork, and relationship building skills.

“Our Dragons Active Holiday programs have been created to suit children of all ages and experience levels and provides a fun and active outing for the kids while on holidays,” said Everill.

Clinics will cost $45 with Red V Member discounts available.

Parents wishing to register their children for either the Kogarah or Wollongong clinic can follow the links to print out the registration form and for further instructions on how to submit.
