
The St George Illawarra Dragons Community department will be teaming up with the NRL Development team to host a series of rugby league gala days in the upcoming weeks!
The Illawarra Country Cup & Shaun Timmins Shield kicked off last week in North Illawarra and will continue this week in both South Illawarra and Shoalhaven.
The Cup is split into three competitive divisions - U13, U15, and Opens - with over 50 schools fighting for spots in the Country Cup Southern NSW Finals on Tuesday, April 28.
The Shoalhaven and South Shoalhaven Legends Days will also take place this Friday, with children in years 3-6 competing for the Rod Wishart & Paul McGregor Shield.
There are both competitive and non-competitive contact divisions, as well as a years 5-6 girls League Tag division.
Additionally, PSSA League trials will be held in Riverwood, Dapto and Central Wollongong this week with opportunities to play primary school representative football in the U11 and Opens divisions.
