The Warrington Wolves have named a 19-man squad for the World Club Series match against the St George Illawarra Dragons at the Halliwell Jonest Stadium, Warrington on Friday.

Warrington Wolves Head Coach Tony Smith, a former player for both St George and Illawarra, admits that the squad selected have been training well for the upcoming international fixture and is expecting a tough encounter against the Dragons.

"It's not been hard for me to build this game up for the players it's certainly one of our goals to perform well on Friday," said Smith. 

"It's a very important game for us and we have treated it with the same sort of respect as we do every Super League game.

"We've prepared the best we can; we'll have our strongest outfit out there and are keen to perform well.

"Everybody has put their hand up to play in this very special game for the Club."
