The St George Illawarra Dragons have announced their travelling squad to compete in the inaugural World Club Series against the Warrington Wolves at The Halliwell Jones Stadium, Warrington on Friday, February 20.

Head Coach Paul McGregor has named a 20-man squad to travel north of the equator for the final hit-out of the pre-season ahead of the upcoming NRL Telstra Premiership season.

Dragons injured duo Josh Dugan (knee) and Jack de Belin (virus) have both been included in the travelling party and are expected to be fit and available for the international match.

“We are very proud to have been invited by the UK Super League to compete in the inaugural World Club Series against the Warrington Wolves,” said Dragons Head Coach Paul McGregor.

"Warrington are a fantastic Club, they have a great Coach and squad who are traditionally a top-four team in their competition so it will be a great challenge for our squad.

“Our squad is made up of those players who have stood out to me in pre-season training as well as the matches that we have had at the NRL Auckland Nines, against the Mackay Cutters and involved in the recent Charity Shield.

“This overseas fixture presents a great opportunity for our group, both on and off the field, and everyone is really looking forward to the match and experience."
