St George Illawarra Dragons captain Ben Creagh took to the pool as part of the annual Great Ocean Pool Crawl at Towradgi ocean Pool on Thursday.

The Dragons skipper was on hand to help support local Phil Murray who was swimming his 60,000th lap to help raise funds going towards the Cancer Information Centre at Wollongong Hospital.

The Wollongong Hospital is one of three charities, alongside St George Hospital and the St.George Foundation, who the Dragons will be supporting as part of the Charity Shield fixture against the South Sydney Rabbitohs at ANZ Stadium, Olympic Park on Saturday.

Jersey Auction

The Dragons will be auctioning the player-worn Charity Shield jerseys with proceeds donated to the St George and Wollongong Public Hospitals.

The auction will commence following the final whistle with Red V Members and supporters alike able to bid until 9.00pm on Thursday, February 12.
