Dragons Kiwi winger Jason Nightingale shares his thoughts on the opening round loss to the Knights of the Dick Smith NRL Auckland Nines at Eden Park with NRL.com

Coach McGregor was pleased with the Dragons defence in respect of the fact that the team only missed six tackles and the Knights scored all tries from kicks.

However it was the errors and completion that frustrated McGregor the most with the Dragons completion rate just 64% compared to the Knights 84%

Key Stats from the match were as follows:

- 74% of the game was played in the Dragons half

- Cooper and Green topped the tackle count with 8 each

- Dragons made 499m, the Knights 369m

- Marshall the most runs, 6

- Dugan the most meters, 61

Knights only made 1 line break
