The St George Illawarra Dragons have granted Jack Stockwell a formal release from his current playing contract.
Stockwell has been granted an early release to take-up a multi-year opportunity with the Newcastle Knights.
Stockwell made his first-grade debut for the Club in round 11 of the 2012 campaign against the South Sydney Rabbitohs and made 35 appearances in total.
“Jack has received an opportunity to join the Newcastle Knights on a multi-year contract and we thank him for both his services and contributions to our Club,” said Head Coach Paul McGregor.
“The Dragons wish him well for his future.”
