The St George Illawarra Dragons would like to thank the 19,184 Red V Members who have marched with us in 2014.
The Dragons dedicated their final home fixture of the season to each and every Red V Member when they took to the field against the Gold Coast Titans at Jubilee Oval, Kogarah in Round 24.
Red V Members were drawn ahead of time to participate in a range of special activities including serving as a Guard of Honour for the players as they ran onto the field; participating in the pre-game Coin Toss; holding a dedicated ‘Thank You’ banner as well as delivering the actual Match Ball to the players.
Red V Member Barry Wright was amongst those in attendance on the day and travelled from Parkes to be in attendance.
The 10+ Year Member drove from Parkes to Orange before boarding a coach to Lithgow the day before.
From there, Wright travelled by train to Central before transferring onwards to Wollongong for the 10+ Year Member Event held at WIN Stadium.
Wright then travelled by train to visit family in Newcastle overnight before starting the commute by train to Carlton to watch the match at Jubilee Oval, Kogarah!
