The St George Illawarra Dragons would like to congratulate Belinda from Berkeley who won the ‘Lunch with the Dragons’ competition at McDonalds, Warrawong on Sunday.
Dragons quartet Dan Hunt, Charly Runciman, Dylan Farrell and Michael Witt were joined by Club Ambassador Shaun Timmins and Happy Dragon to welcome Belinda as well as her family members and friends who all enjoyed lunch at the restaurant.
Participants were asked to complete an entry as to why they should have Lunch with the Dragons with Belinda’s entry reading:
‘I would love this deal as I am a hard working single mum with five children. And they love Macca's. To have an easy night with no cooking would be great.’
“It was really great and inspiring to meet Belinda who does so much to help support her family,” said Hunt.
“The Dragons were more than happy to be involved in this initiative when approached by McDonald’s and it was awesome seeing so many smiling faces.”
All participants received a Dragons shirt, cap, lunch box and other Dragons items.
