St George Illawarra Dragons second-rower Leeson Ah Mau has his sights purely focused on the fixture against the Brisbane Broncos at Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane on Friday.
The Samoa international is proud to represent his nation of heritage but is not allowing the thought of a spot in the Four Nations cloud his perspective of the job required north of the state border.
Ah Mau credits his fellow right-edge teammates for his improvements on the field this season and confides having such quality players around him draws opposition attention away from him and relieves him of unwanted pressure.

“I’d love to represent my country and I’ll be excited if I get picked,” said Ah Mau.
“That is in the back of my mind at the moment but the focus is on trying to do the job out there on Friday.
“I’m enjoying the opportunity I’ve got playing on the edge alongside Benji Marshall, Josh Dugan and Jason Nightingale and I’m just trying to play my role in the team.
“Benji has given me that confidence, obviously everybody is worried about him so they forget about me and it gives me a bit of space.
“The forward pack is going pretty good especially with the middle boys led by Ben Creagh who is letting his actions do the speaking.
“I don’t really know what to expect in Brisbane but I’m looking forward to doing my part for the team.”
