The St George Illawarra Dragons defeated the Gold Coast Titans 34-6 at Jubilee Oval, Kogarah on Sunday.
During the game, the 2014 Dragon’s side made history as the very first team in the Club’s history to have two New Zealand players both score ten tries in one season.
On Sunday, centre Gerard Beale gathered his tenth four-pointer, while winger Jason Nightingale claimed his 15th.

In his second game as fullback this season, Beale made 107 metres for 32 carries.
The leading metre-makers were Dragons winger Brett Morris, who made 188 metres in 15 carries, lock Trent Merrin, who ran for 150 metres in 19 carries, and Dragons prop Mike Cooper, who also made 150 metres but with 22 carries.
Cooper came off the bench with 10 hit ups, making 78 metres.
Merrin made 11 hit ups making 88 metres, and fellow Dragons prop Tyson Frizell made 7 hit ups for 54 metres.
Merrin had his hand in a bit of everything, with two offloads (tied most in the game), a line break, a line break assist, and a try assist to go along with his 150 metres and 25 tackles.
The Titans dominated the tackle count with hooker Beau Falloon making 46, prop Luke Bailey making 45, and halfback Daniel Mortimer making 37.
Dragons centre Peter Mata’utia and prop Leeson Ah Mau both made three tackle breaks, while halfback Benji Marshall made two alongside his captain Ben Creagh.
Marshall also made two line breaks, and so did Titans winger Anthony Don.
