St George Illawarra Dragons National Youth Competition team second-rower Vincent Stowers has been charged with a Grade 1 "Dangerous Contact - Unnecessary Head/Neck Pressure" offence by the NRL Match Review Committee on Monday.

The offence occurred during the fixture against the Gold Coast Titans at Jubilee Oval, Kogarah on Sunday.

The Dragons will consider their position and have until midday Tuesday to enter a plea.
