St George Illawarra Dragons duo Dylan Farrell and Charly Runciman were proudly involved in the annual Greenacres Disabilities Services Picnic Day held on Wednesday.

The Dragons pair were joined by National Youth Competition team lock Andrew McCarthy for the event which, due to weather, took place this year at GSD’s North Wollongong packaging factory.

Over 150 Greenacres employees enjoyed a range of activities at the factory, which resembled more fair then factory, with live music, a giant slide, a basketball hoop, pass the ball board and plenty of sausage sandwiches!

The players also signed a number of autographs and posed for a numerous photos with a group mostly dressed in Dragons gear.

“I was overwhelmed with how passionate the group were about rugby league and in particular the Dragons,” said Farrell.

“Both Charly and I were continually engaged in conversation about the season as well as our thoughts on the match against the Gold Coast Titans this Sunday.”
