The St George Illawarra Dragons are proud to announce that the illustrious playing career of rugby league Immortal Reg Gasnier will be on display in a special tribute cabinet at the Heroes and Legends Museum at Rugby League Central.

The selected items trace the playing and media career of the man who was named in the first group of Rugby League Immortals in 1981.

The mementos include a Red V Dragons jersey, a St George Scrapbook, Kangaroos team photos and media excerpts from Reg’s media career with Big League Magazine.

Viewing the cabinet prior to the opening, NRL Head of Football Todd Greenberg said the display traced the life of one of the game’s greatest players.

“What a great opportunity for the Rugby League community to visit the museum and follow Reg's career from the beginning,” said Greenberg.

"It is a beautiful and simple display that is a must see for all fans of the game.”

The Heroes and Legends Museum is housed at Rugby League Central, Moore Park and is open from 10.00am to 2.00pm Monday to Friday and entry is free.
