The St George Illawarra Dragons High Performance Unit team were invited to take part in a round-robin style game alongside a NSW Combined Catholic Colleges U15 Country Development team at WIN Stadium, Wollongong recently.
There were a total a total of three matches played between the St George Dragons Junior Representative team, a combined Illawarra Steelers Junior Representative and Group 7 Regions team as well as the NSW CCC U15s watched by both several Dragons first-grade players, as well as parents and friends alike.
All players involved in the mini-tournament were all appreciative of the opportunity to play at WIN Stadium.
The St George Dragons and combined Illawarra Steelers and Group 7 Regions team players came together for one session prior to the match and will do so again in a number of further sessions over the course of the season.
