The St George Illawarra Dragons would like to thank everyone who participated in the Dragons Active Clinics for June and July!

Dragons Community engaged with over 300 children i two after school clinics in Kogarah and a three-hour clinic in Wollongong.

The Active Clinics engaged the children in a tour of the Dragons sheds to start the day, then rolling into loads of Rugby League skills in a safe and enjoyable environment, with Dragons and NRL Development staff.

Dragons players were on hand during both of the clinics to lend a hand on a variety of skill stations as well as taking some time to sign autographs and pose for a few photos with the luck participants.

“Our Dragons Active Holiday programs have been created to suit children of all ages and experience levels and provides a fun and active outing for the kids while on holidays,” said Dragons Community Manager Paul Everill.

Team sports and group activities during the holiday break provide an important outlet for children to be active and can also help with vital life lessons in personal values, teamwork and relationship building skills.

Each and every child went home with a Dragons football, water bottle, backpack, high bounce ball and plenty of smiles.
