St George Illawarra Dragons lock Trent Merrin will remain under observation following the scan results of his injured ankle on Monday.
The NSW Blues representative sustained the ailment to his ankle joint while scoring in the 19-18 win over the Gold Coast Titans at Cbus Super Stadium, Robina on Sunday.
The Shellharbour Sharks junior will be under the supervision of the Club’s medical staff throughout the week and is available for the Emergency Services Cup fixture against the Melbourne Storm at WIN Stadium, Wollongong on Monday.
