St George Illawarra Dragons utility Charly Runciman has retained his place in the first-grade team for the clash with the Gold Coast Titans at Cbus Super Stadium, Robina on Sunday.

NSW Blues representative duo Josh Dugan and Trent Merrin have both been named but will undertake a medical assessment post Wednesday’s State of Origin match to determine their availability.

“I am happy to have been named again in the team and don’t mind where I get named to play,” said Runciman.

“I really enjoyed getting to play first-grade for the first time this season alongside the other senior players last week against the Penrith Panthers and will continue to work hard for the team and do whatever I can to stay in NRL."
