St George Illawarra Dragons National Youth Competition team second-rower Jack Bird will miss one match after being charged with a Grade 1 "Unnecessary Head/Neck Pressure" offence by the NRL Match Review Committee.
The NSW U20 representative was placed on report for the incident in the 46th minute of the fixture against the Penrith Planthers at Sportingbet Stadium, Penrith on Saturday.
Bird has taken the early guilty plea and will be loaded 90 points.
He will return for the Round 16 match against the Melbourne Storm.
