The St George Illawarra Dragons and Gasnier Family would like to announce that there will be a special tribute and opportunity for the public to honour and celebrate the life of Rugby League Immortal Reg Gasnier at the Dragons next home game in Kogarah at Jubilee Oval on Saturday, July 5.
"As a family we are extremely grateful for all of the support and kind words that we had received from the rugby league community during this sad time," said Reg's son Peter Gasnier.
"As we prepare for Dad's funeral tomorrow, we acknowledge that Dad has so many admirers and we wish to advise that there will be an opportunity for the public to celebrate his life and rugby league career at Kogarah in July, a place so special to him”.
The funeral for family and friends of Reg Gasnier will take place in southern Sydney tomorrow, Thursday, May 15 after such time the Club and Family will work through and communicate the details for the public tribute in July.
