The Illawarra host the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs at WIN Stadium, Wollongong on Saturday.

After wins for both sides last weekend, Illawarra defeating the Wyong Roos and Cantebruy beating the North Sydney Bears, both sides will be looking to continue their run of good form.

The Cutters line-up has been bolstered by returning international representatives pair Peter Mata’utia and Pene Botiki who return from playing for their respective nations as well as experienced half-back Michael Witt who takes on the captaincy role.

For the Bulldogs, there is a mix of youth and experience with established first-grade players Reni Maitua and Krisnan Inu along with former Cutter Damien Cook.

This is the first meeting of the sides this season and both will be looking to assert their dominance through tough defence, something that was evident in the Cutters victory last week.

Cutters are currently in second place and will looking to push for the top spot on the ladder, while the Bulldogs sit just outside the top 8 in 11th position.
