The Illawarra Cutters host the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles at WIN Stadium, Wollongong on Saturday.

The round 8 fixture see’s the Cutters looking to bounce back from their 35-28 loss at the hands of the New Zealand Warriors last round.

Head Coach Ian Millward has once again named a strong team which mirrors last week’s squad with a strong first-grade presence.

With players such as Sam Williams, Adam Quinlan and Kyle Stanley in their squad the Cutters present a formable line up.

The Sea Eagles present several stand-out talent of their own in the form of Cheyse Blair and Tom Symonds.

The key for the Cutters is re-establishing their defence after building a foundation on it in the opening rounds.

However, letting in 35 points against the Warriors was a result of going away from such discipline which Millward has had to address internally

“We gave them a big lead and I think that second half try they scored hurt us,” said Millward.

“It was a disappointing performance and we have reviewed that game like we do the others to learn from our mistakes.”

“We’re back at home against Manly this round and we have to win the game.

“We will make sure we have a strong defensive foundation like we have had previously to do that.”
