St George Illawarra Dragons National Youth Competition team halfback Adam Clune is eager to get back to WIN Stadium for the match against the Brisbane Broncos, on Friday.

The Shellharbour Sharks junior knows the team have a tough challenge ahead but is confident the young Dragons will step up.

“It’s always good to get back here at Wollongong in front of our fans,” Clune said.

“The boys always step up and we want to put in the effort we know we are capable of and show our supporters a good game.

“Last week was a tough game against the Sharks, but we’re always ready to test ourselves against those bigger packs.

“It was a bit disappointing, as in the last two games we managed to keep the opposition to 16 points and we slacked off a bit as they got up on us with 28 points.

“We have the confidence in each other and in our ability and we were happy to take the two points.

“We know what we need to work on and we need to have a good defensive set and maintain our ball control.

“We just had a talk about minimizing our errors and staying focused out there.”
