The Illawarra Cutters host the Newtown Jets at WIN Stadium, Wollongong on Saturday.

The Cutters are coming off their first win of the campaign after their comprehensive 34-22 win over the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks last round.

The Cutters line-up features several changes with both Shannon Wakeman and Rory O’Brien joining the starting line-up alongside winger Geoff Daniela who debuted last round.

They face the Newtown Jets who have had a tough start to the season and are still looking for their first victory of the year.

But the Jets can’t be discounted, their line-up features a sprinkling of first-grade talent and young up-and-coming prospects.

The Cutters’ strength lies with their attacking prowess within the opposition’s 20-metre line.

This needs to be combined with a fast start to the game which is something that has been improved upon since their opening two rounds of the NSW Cup.
