St George District Junior Rugby League

Founded in 1911, the St George Rugby Football League governs the clubs in local and NSWRL Conference Competitions within the St George District.

The district houses close to 2,000 players in competitions held from April to September each year in age groups from Under 6 to Open Age, and across three different forms of the game including Tackle, League Tag, and League Touch.

The St George Dragons feature teams in SG Ball Cup (Under 19s boys), Tarsha Gale Cup (Under 19s girls), Harold Matthews Cup (Under 17s boys) and Lisa Fiaola Cup (Under 17s girls).

Hurstville United

Established in 1917, Hurstville United has produced the likes of Lance Thompson, Anthony Mundine & Luciano Leilua.

Kingsgrove Colts

Established in 1955, the Kingsgrove Colts were the junior club of Michael Sorridimi & Hame Sele.

Kogarah Cougars

Established in 1995, the Cougars have enjoyed a post-Covid boom seeing record registration numbers.

Penshurst RSL Kookaburras

Established in 1961, Penshurst RSL was the junior club of Matt Dufty & Chris Johns.

Renown United

Established in 1952, Renown United have produced famous names such as the Gasniers, Billy Smith & Jason Nightingale.

Riverwood Legion

Established in 1990, Riverwood have seen junior participation numbers jump in recent years with boys and girls flocking to the community club.
