Dragons visit Wollongong Hospital for Children’s Ward Party Week

The St George Illawarra Dragons paid a visit to Wollongong Hospital on Wednesday to celebrate the Children's Ward Party Week.

NRL stars Tyrell Sloan, Daniel Atkinson, Ryan Hutchinson and Tyler Peckham-Harris joined NRLW stars Ella Koster and Montaya Hudson along with the Dragons Community Team to be a part of the celebrations.

The visit comes in the lead-up to the club's i98FM Illawarra Convoy Round which helps provide support to individuals and families affected by life-threatening medical conditions, local hospitals and contributions to charities who service patients impacted by severe illness.

“It’s so special to have the opportunity to come here and be around the kids,” Koster said.

“It’s really important that our club is involved in these types of initiatives. Everyone here was so welcoming, and I hope we were able to put some smiles on faces. Convoy Round is always a big occasion too, so it was great to feel that community spirit.”
