The St George Illawarra Dragons can confirm the signing of New Zealand international Kodi Nikorima on a deal that will see him join the club in 2027.
The deal will see the 32-year-old link up with the Dragons until at least the end of the 2028 season.
Having debuted for the Broncos back in 2015, Nikorima comes to the club boasting a résumé consisting of 237 NRL appearances, 51 tries, 18 international caps and four Māori All Star nods.
A crafty and skilled playmaker, Nikorima has proven himself as an integral member of the Dolphins since their inception in 2023 having tallied three tries and 11 try assists in 15 matches this season.
Head Coach Dean Young praised Nikorima’s experience and playmaking nous and expressed his excitement towards welcoming him to the club in November.
“Kodi’s achieved so much in the game and has been playing great football at the Dolphins,” Young said.
“He’s a classy player. His ball-playing ability and decision-making are elite. We are looking forward to welcoming him to the club in November.”
Dragons CEO Tim Watsford echoed Young’s sentiments, describing Nikorima’s addition as another key signing, as the club continues shaping the squad around a core group of rising stars.
