The St George Dragons and Illawarra Steelers competed in Round 6 of the 2026 NSW Women’s Premiership season over the weekend.

The Dragons fell to the Knights 32-20 at McDonald Jones Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The Knights came out firing, scoring four first-half tries to establish a commanding lead.
The Dragons found a response through Navusolo, who crossed just before the break to get her side on the scoreboard and reduce the halftime deficit to 24-4.
Newcastle continued their momentum after the restart, with Brown and Glassie crossing in the opening stages of the second half.
The Dragons refused to go away, with Gray, Anderson and Raihe all scoring in the final 15 minutes. Arabella McKenzie added two conversions as the visitors attempted a late comeback.
Despite the late fightback, the Knights had done enough to secure a 32-20 victory.

The Illawarra Steelers fell to the Rabbitohs 22-12 at Collegians Sporting Complex on Saturday afternoon.
The Rabbitohs started strongly with Yaranamua opening the scoring before Dimech added another to give the visitors an early advantage.
The Steelers responded through Pohatu, who crossed for the home side's first try of the afternoon.
The Rabbitohs extended their lead before the break through Laufale before Yaranamua secured her second try early in the second half.
The Steelers continued to push until the final stages of the contest, with Rhian Yeo crossing in the closing minutes and Handcock adding the conversion.
But the day belonged to the Rabbitohs, with the visitors holding on for a 22-12 victory.
