The St George Illawarra Dragons can confirm that Keele Browne has inked a contract extension with the club.
The deal will see the 23-year-old remain a Dragon until at least the end of the 2028 NRLW season.
A Milton-Ulladulla Bulldogs junior, Browne made her NRLW debut for the Dragons as a teenager in 2021 and came off the interchange in the side’s Grand Final loss later that season.
That same year, she was rewarded with call-ups to the NSW Under 19s squad and Country Under 19s squad.
A powerful and hard-working centre, Browne established herself in the side in 2022 and finds herself this season as one of the club’s longest-tenured players.
Browne was last year awarded the club’s NRLW Coaches’ Award and Community Involvement Award in recognition of the work she puts in on the field, at training, and in the community.
“I’m very grateful to be continuing my footy journey here at the Dragons,” Browne said.
“I love the team and culture we are building here, and I have never been more invested in what we are creating here at the club. My whole rugby league journey started with this club; I came through the Steelers’ junior representative pathways through to the Dragons NRLW squad. This always has been, and still is, home.”

“She’s an absolute professional; she won our NRLW Coaches’ Award last year and her work to start the this season has been excellent. She’s improved each year she’s been in the NRLW and we’re looking forward to having her continue her journey in the Red V.”
