Dragons teenager Cornelius Pupualii named to 2026 Australian Schoolboys Team

Dragons teenager Cornelius Pupualii was named in the 2026 Australian Schoolboys Team off the back of a standout ASSRL National Championships campaign.

Pupualii signed with the club 12 months ago alongside twin brother Alexander and spent the SG Ball season with St George scoring seven tries from eight appearances.

The teenager hails from Mount Druitt having spent his junior days with the St Marys Saints before continuing his footballing journey at Patrician Brothers’ College, Blacktown.

A talented outside back, Pupualii played a key role in NSWCCC’s charge to the Grand Final where they fell to NSWCHS by a point.

Pupualii joins the likes of Ryan Couchman, Loko Jnr Pasifiki Tonga, and Jacob Halangahu on the list of Dragons to have been named Australian Schoolboys in recent years.
