The St George Illawarra Dragons have secured Gold Coast flyer Phillip Sami on a deal which will deliver him to the club in 2027.
The deal will see the former State of Origin representative join the club until at least the end of 2029.
The Ipswich native has made 149 appearances for the Titans since his debut in 2017 scoring 74 tries.
He was also a member of Queensland’s State of Origin winning squad in 2020.
Sami joins Keaon Koloamatangi and Scott Drinkwater on the club’s list of recruits for next season as the squad continues to build.
“Phil has been a really quality player in the NRL for a number of years now,” Dragons CEO Tim Watsford said.
“He’s fast, strong, athletic and a real handful for opposition teams out of yardage. We’ve identified him as a player who can add something to our backline, and we’re excited to welcome him to the club in 2027.”
