Dragons Injury Update: February

The Dragons can confirm the following updates on Valentine Holmes, Jacob Liddle, Dylan Egan and Nathan Lawson.

VALENTINE HOLMES

Holmes has recovered from a hamstring injury which occurred early in January. He was available for selection in this Saturday’s Charity Shield against the Rabbitohs however a decision has been made that he will not play. He will be ready to line up in the side’s season opener against the Bulldogs in Las Vegas.

JACOB LIDDLE

Liddle has made good early progress as he recovers from a hamstring injury. He has returned to rehab running and is now focused on increasing running volume and strength. He will be unavailable for the side’s season opener against the Bulldogs in Las Vegas but is aiming for a Round 2 return.

DYLAN EGAN

Egan is in the late stages of his ACL rehab after successful surgery in June. He has returned to some contact training and is targetting a return in Round 8-10.

NATHAN LAWSON

Lawson is progressing through rehab well as he recovers from a foot injury sustained in last year’s Knock-On Effect NSW Cup postseason. He has returned to running and is now focused on increasing running volume as he eyes a return in approximately Round 4.
